  Here's a simplified recipe on how to make brioche at home

 Ingredients:

 - 4 cups all-purpose flour 

- 1/3 cup sugar - 1 tablespoon active dry yeast 

- 1/2 teaspoon salt - 4 large eggs - 1/2 cup warm milk 

- 1 1/4 cups unsalted butter (softened)

 Instructions: 

 1.  In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.

 2.  In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Make a well in the center and add eggs, followed by the yeast mixture. 

3. Mix until a dough forms. Then, gradually incorporate softened butter. Knead until smooth and elastic.

 4.  Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size (1-2 hours). 

5. Punch down the dough, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

 6. Divide the dough into portions and shape them into balls or a loaf. Place in a greased pan. 

 7.  Let it rise again until doubled in size. 

 8.  Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

9. Optional: Brush the top with melted butter for a shiny finish. Enjoy your homemade brioche!
