Corn is a summer staple, and we're here to show you how to freeze it so you can enjoy it all year round. Caution: Thawed frozen corn will never be the same as fresh corn, and we recommend keeping produce fresh for applications like corn salads or salsas. However, frozen corn is great in soups and stews, and you'll find yourself reaching for it whenever a dish needs a little sunshine.

For best results, thaw frozen corn in the refrigerator overnight. Otherwise, you can cook corn directly from frozen by adding it to a pot of boiling water. Frozen corn works well in many recipes, including Zesty Chicken Corn Soup, Honey Butter Creamed Corn, and Pepper Jack Corn Gratin. However, if you are making a salad or salsa with corn, stick to fresh produce.
